All received 6-min resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) scan before after electro-acupuncturing (EAS) at Sanyinjiao (SP6) acupoint late luteal phase menstrual. Fractional amplitude low-frequency fluctuation (fALFF) method applied examine EAS-related changes Results Compared pre-EAS SP6, increased fALFF value several regions including brainstem, right thalamus, bilateral insula, paracentral lobule, cerebellum, meanwhile, decreased left cuneus, precuneus, inferior temporal cortex.
